Hello and welcome to my blog!

I am a software developer with an actuarial background who was once described in a job interview as being interesting because I was a “hybrid spotted fish”. I guess because of my somewhat mixed educational background where I did computer science and mathematics for undergrad, and actuarial science for postgrad, I couldn’t be slotted into a neat box for a particular career path, even though at the time my expressed interest was in becoming an actuary.

This blog functions as a space for me to express my thoughts on certain issues, and as a way of maintaining an online presence, however small, as I’ve opted out of active social media participation. I’ll also share bits and pieces from my hobby/non-hobby code projects from time to time.

If something I’ve said strikes a chord with you, please feel free to reach out. I’m always open to dialogue with like-minded individuals, and even with those who may not be like-minded.
